Keep Port St . Lucie Beautiful gears up for busy event season
Keep Port St . Lucie Beautiful participated for the first time at FAM Fest at Whispering Pines Park on Feb . 22 . KPSLB ' s first Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day event of the year took place March 1 , and KPSLB staff will also join the Communications Department on March 8 for the Love Your Block Neighborhood Day at Whispering Pines Park .
On March 15 , KPSLB staff will participate in the Port St . Lucie Botanical Garden ' s 15 Years Blooming event to celebrate its 15th anniversary .
The Caring Community Cleanup is April 5 at City Hall . Residents can enjoy a free breakfast before heading out to their cleanup destinations and then return for a boxed lunch , music and raffle prizes . The event is 7:30 a . m . to 1 p . m ., with special guest exhibitors from the UF-AFIS Extension Campus Master Gardener program , the Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup Crew , Naturally PSL and more ! Since 2014 , the Caring Community Cleanup volunteers have removed 25,962 pounds of litter from the City of Port St . Lucie !
On April 12 , KPSLB will attend the St . Lucie Earth Day Festival at Oxbow Eco-Center . It takes place from 10 a . m . to 4 p . m .
