Floresta Drive Improvements: Floresta Drive Phase 3
Construction for Floresta Drive Phase 3 is in progress. Multiple crews are on site, working on essential underground drainage and watermain activities. Additionally, efforts are underway to construct the stormwater retention pond at Harborview and to enhance drainage for the D-11 canal.
Road closures:
• Coral Reef Street: The contractor closed Coral Reef Street from north of Chaloupe Avenue to south of Evergreen Terrace for work on the D-11 Canal, which is expected to last until the end of March.
• Arton Lane: The contractor closed Arton Lane to thru traffic until the end of March.
• Floresta Drive: The contractor implemented a full closure on Floresta Drive from Evergreen Terrace to Calmoso Drive until September. Northbound and southbound lanes will be closed to facilitate the installation of drainage structures and pipes for the storm drainage system along Floresta Drive. During this time, the contractor also will focus on constructing the roadway, sidewalk, curb, median and green spaces.
• Detours are in place to notify motorists ahead of the closure on Crosstown Parkway and Prima Vista Boulevard. Additionally, several local streets remain accessible for traffic. www. CityofPSL. com / SalesTax
