Treasure Coast Training Cooperative: An Alliance for Municipal Performance Excellence
The Treasure Coast Training Cooperative( TCTC) was launched in early 2025 through a partnership between our City of Port St. Lucie Training and Development Coordinator and local municipalities, inspired by the success of South Florida’ s Employee Development Council.
The group met quarterly via Zoom throughout 2025 and successfully hosted its first in-person meeting Jan. 23 at the Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce, bringing together representatives from St. Lucie County, the City of Fort Pierce, Indian River County, Martin County and the City of Okeechobee, with the City of Vero Beach and the City of Stuart involved in prior iterations.

The event featured discussion on how training and development opportunities can align with organizational metrics to support performance and how our work can be more efficient and impactful by designing learning that sticks.
This milestone marks the beginning of a strong local alliance of training managers focused on collaboration and shared growth. The Treasure Coast Training Cooperative’ s purpose is to provide a platform for area municipalities to exchange training resources and best practices, strengthening our local governments and communities across the Treasure Coast.
