I asked for something positive that
I could share with you all. However
much we should be heartened by this
at the moment it could be no more
than wishful thinking,..
In mergers it is always the
biggest partner who calls the
shots, in this case it is the
RUH
What we all fear is the ‘atomisation’ of the institution, cherry picking bits and
separating other bits off, diluting or destroying intricate relationships between
disciplines and research and clinicians from specialist therapists.
Fighting for a way to
preserve the brand and
mission is the essential
activity
As patients and
members we should
also be prepared to
identify what we think
should be preserved
and continue to
campaign for it.
We do not know the price tag nor the conditions
of sale. It is difficult to understand how brand and
mission can actually be preserved, and along with
it the qualities we all appreciate so much.
.......know just how difficult it has
been for all staff at the RNHRD over
the past several years and in awe
of the way they have preserved the
quality of service that we are still
privileged to receive.
I am certain that I can speak for this group of supporters in saying that we are all
truly grateful.
