ast month, a big part of the
students of IES Pravia, went to a
camp whose name was “Walking to Loredo”. It took us about three hours to get there by bus and we stayed at the campsite for four days, three nights.
When we arrived, the instructors divided the students into groups of about 13 people. The different groups were named after animals, such as pumas, monkeys or spiders. After that, while one of the instructors was giving us our daily timetable, another was taking our mobile phones from us. Shower time was at 8pm and after that, we were given our mobiles at the meeting point, until quarter to nine.
The best part of the trip was the activities. We learnt a lot of things. We did surfing twice, rappel and lots of games like “rescue team”, which is a game in which a member of the team has to pretend to be
injured , so the rest of the team has to help him. Acrosport was also really fun. We also did a gymkhana and when we finished , the instructors let us buy an ice cream and have a swim at the beach.
We played games until 23.30 the first two nights and then we went to our bungalows to sleep. The last night, we celebrated a party which was reall fun. We danced and enjoyed a lot.
The only thing that most of the students didn’t like was the food, but the trip was so nice and we had really fun there!
