Robin Hood
This Project was thought to be useful to teach children English in a different way.
First, children learn adjectives to describe all the characters; they realize that there are some adjectives that are right the opposite. (for example: good- bad , poor – rich)
They use “can” for abilities and “have got or Has got” for possessions. And Present Simple.
They read a photo story about a contest where Robin wins a bag of gold to give to the poor.
They are able to make questions and answer them about the photo story they have read.
Children are filmed saying a sentence about each character.
They really enjoy doing all the activities very much.
It was a good project because they have also read the story in Spanish with their teacher. They were able to compare pictures from the two books, the Spanish and the English one.
They also tried to sing along Robin hood`song. And they managed to.
I think that they had fun!!
They draw and describe them.
