Calderon theater’s path , from its beginnings to the present day , has not been easy. His first construction began in 1832, with the increased need for people to have a venue in which they can host the cultural events in the city. The place chosen for its construction is a large segment of the city center , where once there was a prison. A year later, in 1833 , the theater of the city opens its doors to the public, causing a stir and expectation.
