This bond that we have brings us together as a team , but it goes way beyond that .
disrupted school and sports ’ schedules . It also upset the routines a team forms , their ability to focus together , and the way they can bond with each other . This year things returned to the way they are supposed to be .
“ That ’ s especially true after the way things ended last year ,” responded Taylor . “ The season ended abruptly and in the wrong way . We decided right then that we didn ’ t want anymore sad tears . We wanted our tears to be happy .”
“ Going into our sectional this year , we faced so much pressure ,” commented Grace . “ We have never technically proven anything to these people . After last year , people have kind of doubted us , and in light of the Providence volleyball dynasty , we had something to prove . We wanted to build the dynasty back up again .”
Is there a word that describes this volleyball team ? Both Grace and Taylor shout together , “ Family !” “ We are just so close . We all have that love for each other that is hard to describe . Everyone has this love inside for the other person ,” answered Grace .
“ We like to be together . You will always see us supporting what the other person does . This bond that we have brings us together as a team , but it goes way beyond that .” Taylor smiles as she continues . “ This feeling is something that lasts a lifetime .”
“ It ’ s just so fun to see everyone in the school succeed . We get to watch people living out their dreams ,” acknowledged Grace .
“ When we got to the final game , it fell back on family again . We ’ ve made it this far . We are not going to let each other lose ,” mentioned Grace . The match-winning point was followed by tears and embraces . “ It was so awesome to show everyone in the community that we are a good team that deserves to be respected . We deserve to be in the Providence dynasty .”
“ Our class has a lot of successful sports programs . Now we will be able to add a trophy to the case . We get to have our own now . Our team is a part of this “ club ” of champions ,” summarized Taylor .
