DESIGN STATEMENT
1. A lot of transfering process can damage the quality of Roselle
flower.
2. Currently, manual method is used to deseeding Roselle,with just
one tool and requires many manpower.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
1. To identify the process of harvesting and deseeding for the Roselle
plant as well as to investigate the hygienity of both processes.
2. To analyze the level of hygiene of the Roselle flowers when going
through the deseeding process to make sure both process can
produce good quality of Roselle product.
3. To design a new product for harvesting and deseeding process
and make it as a hybrid pocess that uses technologies that can
be related and has an ergonomic element to make it easy, safe
and efficient to use.
4. To validate both of the new tools with the Roselle farm workers
and collect feedbacks from them.
