1.1.11.1 Bar Type CT:
As name employees the bar type CTs
have one built in bar for external
connection
Secondary is completely packed in
insulated body; mostly we see this
type of CTs in lower bus bar which
then connected to Switchgears or circuit breakers for
purpose of circuit completion.
1.1.11.2 Wound Type CT:
As name employed in this the
secondary number of turns are
wounded on core of secondary,
primary would be any
conductor or cable at which
Wound CT is mounted.
Usually wounded secondary is
not seen but cover in solid
insulated packing.
