Students will determine how decision making impacts their future.

ACTIVITIES:
Decision-making is a process students will engage in throughout their lives. Some
decisions will be critical to their future success. The students will gain a greater
understanding of effective decision making and examine tips for making good decisions.
1. Ask the students how many decisions they make in a day. What are some of them?
You may want to list them on the board or overhead. Which ones are important?
Which ones are not? How do we learn to make good decisions?
2. Divide the students into groups of seven. Tell them they will have the opportunity
during the activity to learn about their decision-making skills and how to make good
decisions by studying what the experts say.
3. Distribute a copy of “How to Make Good Choices” to each group. Ask them to cut
the article into section
