**There is a certain satisfaction in creating a collage from the traditional materials, but we live in the age of “selfies” and Instagram. Hence, digital collage-creating applications were included in this lesson. 1. Begin by reviewing some of the self-knowledge activities students have already completed in the ProTeam class. Have the students write in journals some of the positive things that they have learned about themselves. 2. Give each student a sheet of paper and a marker. Assign students to pairs and have them draw silhouettes of each other on the poster paper as directed in the handout. Distribute the “Making a Collage” handout. 3. Show the students a sample collage (preferably made by you.) v Glue all of the things that you know about yourself, but others may not know about you on the back of the poster: What I’d Like People to Know about Me That They Don’t. v Glue all of the things that represent the “secret you” and that you wish to keep secret on the inside of the poster. Use tape to seal the inside of the poster shut: My Secret Self. 5. Allow the ProTeam students to present their collages to their classmates. 6. Comment on the fact that the ProTeamers have been discovering many positive things about themselves as evidenced by their collages. Ask them: Do you always feel positive about yourselves? How do you handle it when your self-esteem tank is low? Do you have a pity party with yourself or take action to get back on track? Remind them that no matter how positive and confident we are, there will be times when everyone needs a little boost. 7. Distribute copies of the “Positive Ways to Feel Better about Yourself” handout. Ask them to review the handout, and choose a partner. Assign each pair a number that corresponds to a suggestion on the handout. Tell students they are to prepare and act out a role-play to demonstrate their given suggestion.     PROTEAM DREAMQUEST CURRICULUM 4-26 MODULE 4: v Glue all of the pictures and words that people know about you on the front of the poster: What People Know about Me. I Can Think Positively 4. Provide each student with access to a variety of magazines and newspapers. Be sure to include some magazines that contain pictures of young people their age, sex, and race. Instruct the students to go through the magazines and newspapers and clip pictures and words that describe their personalities. Give the following instructions for gluing the words and pictures on their collages:
