Allow students to share their journal entries, if they would like to do so.
FAMILY INVOLVEMENT:
Ask each student to complete a true colors diagram based on one of his
parents/guardians. The information can be obtained from recall, observation or interview
–– with or without parental input. Encourage the students to be positive. This would
make a great addition to the portfolio of materials that the students can give as gifts to
their parents/guardians at the end of the course.
