Learners combine mandatory units in areas such as managing their own professional development , setting objectives and supporting team members , and planning , allocating and monitoring the work of a team , with a range of optional units tailored to their specific roles and interests . Options include managing conflict , leading meetings , recruiting staff and procurement .
Learners can progress to a Level 5 Management qualification ( there is no Level 4 ) or to a more specific area of management , such as finance , HR or marketing .
