Subang Jaya. At the moment, homes
here are being sold at an average of
RM1,300 to RM1,500 per square foot.
The property that we are highlighting in
this article sits on Jalan SS 19/5f and it is
house number 42. Currently being used
as an exclusive kindergarten, owners
Adzli and Jelita who currently reside
at GoldCoast, Australia have tastefully
designed the unit. Utmost thought was
put into the design of the unit so that
it could easily accommodate groups
of children, an age-care facility or even
unfolded back into a gorgeous, huge
home for a family. This would make it a
lot easier for a future owner in the event
that they sell the unit along the way.
These renovation works cost the couple
approximately RM300,000 some 10 to
Impressive, not just an impression
At the moment, the main entrance has
been closed as it is more feasible for
teachers to receive students into the
building from the side entrance instead.
But if you look at the illustrations below,
you would be able to picture the long
porch at the entrance.
This is a feature that all homes in this
neighbourhood share. The long porch
serves the purpose of parking three
cars back to back. In the case of this
particular house, part of the garden
(seen next to the porch) has also been
converted to accommodate a play area
for the kids. This area is big enough to
park two more cars, hence you could
park five cars at the porch…impressed
yet?
Walking past the play area would
lead you to a 5-foot-wide garden
that currently houses the pet of the
kindergarten (Iggy the Iguana). Upon
purchase, you will inherit the garden
area but not Iggy.
The house that sits on approximately
4,000sq ft of land area had an original
built-up of 1,423 sq ft, but now hosts
3,700sq ft of liveable space. When I
walked into the house, I was astonished
by its size. It felt like I was walking
through a mansion, even though it was
just an end lot terrace home.
UNITY is the root to any COMMUNITY.
The Sunny Outdoors
This area could either be maintained
as a garden where you could include a
coffee table for those romantic evening
chit-chats or pave it up to add on to the
already impressive porch area.
