RM1 Billion to Upgrade Sabah
Supply of Electricity

The Federal Government
has alloted RM1bil
to improve and
upgrade electricity
supply in Sabah, said
Deputy Energy, Green
Technology and Water
Minister Datuk Seri
Mahadzir Khalid.
“Work to upgrade power
generation, transmission
and distribution in
Sabah, particularly its
east coast, is expected
to be completed within
the next two years,” he
told Wong Tien Fatt (DAP
- Sandakan).

include improving
power transmission in
Sandakan, Lahad Datu
and Tawau apart from
