WSG Group’ s Prosperous CNY at Kinarut

Kinarut is poised to be an established township in the years to come with the upcoming Pan-Borneo Highway project and promising developments in the area.

The WSG Group managing director Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen said that the sleepy town of Kinarut is poised to experience a transformation as the commercial centre houses some branded names such as KFC, G-Mart, Mr D. I. Y Homeware, to name a few.
“ The only thing that we are missing now is a bank. I have approached Maybank to open a branch here to complete the puzzle,” Datuk Susan told reporters during her Chinese New Year Open
House 2017 at the Palm Condominium show gallery on Tuesday( 31st January).
According to her, the Palm Condominium project which is located a 20-minute drive( without traffic jam) from the heart of Kota Kinabalu City consists of five towers totalling 640 residential units with reasonable selling price which ranges from RM300 to RM400 per sq ft depending on the location of the units.
“ To date, we have completed Tower C and D, and already have occupants. And, now we are in the process of developing Tower A which is facing the South China Sea. We have another 20 units left and we hope those who want to buy to hurry up as we are still selling at the old prices,” she said, adding that the clubhouse at the development has also completed.
The construction of Tower B will be launched next year and Tower E the subsequent year, and she is encouraging homebuyers to buy this year as the selling prices are expected to go up by 20 percent next year as the price for building materials is expected to increase next year.
During the event, she also donated RM50,000 to SJK( C) Kin Kiau, Kinarut, an 80 year old Chinese vernacular school with only 20 % Chinese students.
