Show Management is working with trade publications, online media and editors of association news-
letters to ensure that readers know about your show activities and new products. If you want more
visibility for your products, please let us know about the new products your company will be exhibit-
ing at the show and any special activities or events you are planning. Your news will be shared wtih
trade journals, as well as to the publishers of the Show Insider, before the show.
While we will make this information available to all publications that register for the show, it always
helps when exhibitors provide personalized announcements or invitations. For example, invite trade
writers to stop by your booth. Be sure to have product specifications, news releases, photos or other
artwork that you can provide. You're welcome to make this information available in the press center
(South Wing Conference Center, Room 111) in addition to keeping some on hand in your booth.
Here are two options for getting your information to the media via the GIE+EXPO Press Office:
Option 1
Any time prior to or during the show, email your press kit or news release and photos to us and
we will load them into a Dropbox that is shared exclusively with media who are registered for
the show. NOTE: Zip your files into one folder and save as "CompanyName_Booth#", email to
[email protected].
Option 2
Email [email protected] with your company name, a contact name, phone & email address
along with the following information. We will save it as a Word document & load it to the Dropbox.
Describe any new products, equipment or services you plan to exhibit at GIE+EXPO. What
makes them unique? Items that have gone into production since GIE+EXPO 2017 will be the
most newsworthy.
List any giveaways, personalities, entertainment, events or sponsorships you are planning for
GIE+EXPO. Winners of any giveaways valued at $2,000 or more will be announced from the
