There is no need to detail the perilous state of the nation.
The division. The acrimony. The tension – it’s everywhere. Not to mention the moral decline.
The closure rate of churches is escalating – about 10,000 may have closed this year by some
estimates.
I am convinced that the only thing that will save us is a Great Awakening. America has had five
such awakenings, by some counts. Such moments turn the nation around, and they usually
arise from prayer – from inviting God’s intervention.
That is our work – mobilizing and resourcing prayer.
And that is why your support is so important. We do conferences – but, we are not only a
conference ministry. We produce books and resources – but, we are not only a publishing
business. We coach pastors and churches - but, we are not primarily a coaching ministry. Our
passion is to see a national spiritual awakening!

be a momentous year. It may be the year of the Great Awakening. Help us to keep banging the
drum, championing the cause.
Three-hundred years ago, before the birth of the nation, we were in sad shape. One report
indicated that half of all girls were expecting a child at the time of their marriage. The number
of couples living together without the benefit of marriage was high. Church attendance
was abysmal. To keep their doors open, churches offered a ‘half-way’ covenant. Men often
disappeared, abandoning their families to go west to find riches. The colonies were not
reflective of the earlier values of the Pilgrims.
Then came the First Great Awakening – and everything changed.
Out of this mighty spiritual renewal, a nation was born. It can happen again! Believe me.
