"Rebranding, in my own words, is making a
difference in something that has already
existed.
Nigeria is a country made up of
different people within different age ranges
and for almost 25 years now, we've been led
by the older group of people leaving the
youths on the street unemployed.
Most of the youths interested in
politics go to university, study courses
related to this field and are still not given
opportunities to show or practice what
they've been taught. The voice of the youths
needs to be heard. We are used to the saying
"children are the leaders of tomorrow" but
yet tomorrow doesn't seem to come.
The position of the youths is not on
the streets, not at the secretary's table, not
in the shops but in the government offices.
Nigeria needs her children to come out and
show what they know and are not to be kept
aside.
Voices need to be heard. A new era has
to begin!"
"It's a fact that Nigeria has an extremely
high amount of young people constituting
its population. This makes it kind of
obvious that we have a part to play in the
rebranding of the nation by whatever
means at our disposal.
Look at it this way; there is so much skill
and undeveloped talent embedded in so
many youths. We just need to tap into
this and channel it into improving the
state of the country
There's a need to take the initiative and
develop these skills, without necessarily
waiting for others to tell us to. By doing
this, you prove to yourself and to others
that you have what it takes to be a useful
part of the society.
The change is now. We are the change."
