llergies are no fun. Treating the root cause while
relieving irritating symptoms is the goal of the
Allergy Immunotherapy Program at Progressive.
We offer food and environmental allergy testing
to create a targeted, customized immunotherapy protocol.
Based on the patient’s test results, our Immunotherapy
Program coordinator will further educate the patient on the
treatment program options. Studies show that at home
immunotherapy programs offer convenient, affordable
and effective administration of the immunotherapy while
providing oversite from our team of physicians. The
program is divided into stages. Each stage will allow the
patient to advance in their treatment cautiously to ensure
that each dose is tolerated before advancing to the higher
dose. The program consists of 5 vials and a maintenance
vial. These can be administered based on the individual’s
ability to tolerate the dosing and symptom management.
Many patients report that the primary reason they stopped
immunotherapy is a lack of symptoms, so patients should
understand that treatment must continue even when they are
feeling well and when allergic symptoms are not bothersome.
Our immunotherapy program coordinator will answer any
