Level 2 Learn how to paint what you see in its simplest form, recognise a good subject and translate it into a compelling watercolour. Develop simple watercolour techniques in a way that is both practical and inspirational. All aspects will be covered, from the initial idea and sketch to the finished work. This pilot class will be a first, and will give guidance with technology using freedom and control creatively. Please bring your own iPad. Students will be required to use the same app, KiwiPixel.com Inspire Pro. Weekly sessions to encourage and inspire your drawing. This is a practical course exploring aspects of drawing technique, media and approach. Sessions will include an opportunity for feedback and the consideration of work by relevant artists. For three of the sessions, we will utilise a life model. Basic charcoal/card provided but please bring own materials as necessary, to be advised each week.
