The Crescent Arts Outreach programme is organised in partnership with community and voluntary groups, schools,
hospitals, hostels and day centres to provide innovative, sustainable arts activities for the whole community which
encourage creative expression, cultural understanding and enjoyment. The workshops are facilitated by the
Crescent Outreach team of experienced community artists, who work closely with the groups to develop activities
that meet their particular needs and creative aspirations. Below is a small example of our projects:

This scheme is open to anyone over 18
years holding a recognised arts
qualification. If you would like the
opportunity for furthering your
practical skills and gaining experience
in professional arts practice,
particularly within community settings,

People’s
Project: ‘Silver
Celebrations’
Calling all people aged 60 plus! Would
you like to get involved in an exciting
project, in which you will learn
contemporary dance theatre in a
supportive and fun environment and
also have the opportunity to be
involved in a local touring show? A
weeklong course is available from 17-21

CAYT
The Crescent Arts Youth Theatre is open
to anyone aged 13-19 years and boys
are particularly welcome! If you are
interested in performing youth drama
on stage, led by CAYT’s Director Andrea
Grimason, or if you would like to learn
new skills in stage production including
hair & make-up, lighting and sound,

Club
The CAC Book Club continues this term.
The book club meets in the Crescent on
the first Wednesday evening of every
month. Ruth Carr is our facilitator and
