Bridge to Independence ' s After School Tutorial Program currently services an average of 20 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one hour each day .

University of Central Florida ' s Center for Research and Education in Arts , Technology and Entertainment ( CREATE ) provides an interdisciplinary art class for our eighth grade students .
During the year students create artists from many periods and cultures . The six grade students are a part of the Arts & Technology class at UCF / CREATE downtown Orlando , FL .
The College and Career Department took our BTI high school students to visit Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach , FL . The students learned the history of Dr . Mary McLeod Bethune and how she started her school with a dollar fifty and her faith in God . Our students were equipped with admission and financial aid information during our tour .
