Nicole Phillips-Hollis , a native of Orlando , Florida , and graduate of Bethune-Cookman University , is an author of " My Neighborhood Super Kids ': She enjoys writing to inspire young minds to reach their higher potential in life . Her goal is to allow students to see life in a new light through reading . She is a member of NAACP , Orlando chapter , Bethune-Cookman Alumni Association , The Heritage Registry of Whds Who and volunteers in her community with different organizations .

The goal of BTI Choir is to develop students who pursue active lifelong participation in musical activities using skills gained through involvement in the choir . Our music programs produce well-rounded musical individuals . Every student has the opportunity to participate in a meaningful musical experience that contributes to the emotional , intellectual , aesthetic , and physical development of the child . Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent .
