H.O.P.E., Inc. of Jacksonville Annual Donation Drive Helping Others Prepare for Empowerment is what H. O. P. E., Inc. of Jacksonville is committed to doing. Through our many focuses we are making great strides in providing quality services to citizens of Duval and Adjacent Counties. We are committed to providing all our services at no cost to participants, although it is a constant struggle to find the dollars to do so. H. O. P. E., Inc. of Jacksonville currently provides: * General Education Development (G. E. D.) Monday Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m. * Senior Computer Training for seniors 60 years and older. Registration for next class is now being accepted. * Second Chance is a program designed to help men and women released form incarceration re-adjust back into society and become productive citizens. * Elite Ladies of and Distinguish Men of HOPE are two mentoring programs that provide positive leadership and motivation to youths 13-17 years of age. * Annual Health Fair; Financial Workshop –Educational & Health seminars; Back to School Supplies Give-Away; and more. * Culture Connection is a program designed to help everyone understand the importance of diversity in the world today. * Empowering Youth Summer Work Program – designed to decrease the amount of juvenile crimes and arrests in Duval County, by providing students (ages 15-18) with job education, positive life & workforce skills, and job placement during the summer.
