Bennie Deese

Manager of Security / Facility Maintenance
For most of my life I have found myself working with and helping people on many levels . I feel that It ’ s one of my callings , as well as , a passion of mine to reach out to or minister to the hurting , the helpless , or wherever I can lend a helping hand . Here in the Central Florida community , I have worked or served as a pastor , associate pastor , security officer , and supporter of , not only my children but other young people , as they displayed their gifts , talents , and skills in athletics as well as the “ arts ”. As an employee of the Rescue Outreach Mission , I feel that my purpose here is to say or do whatever I can to lift spirits , counsel , and encourage those who come my way ; no matter what position they may hold , as we work collectively to render services to those who have a need in our community .

Christy Byrd

Executive Assistant for the Rescue Outreach Mission
A United States Army Veteran with a combined total of 17 years of service as an active duty military member and a Department of Defense civilian , Christy hails from Ft . Lauderdale , Florida and has an extensive background in Christian Counseling , Human Resource Management , as well as Finance . Christy majored in Management and Human Relations at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville , TN . Currently , she is responsible for managing the administration of the various programs and services the Rescue Outreach Mission offers . Prior to joining the Rescue Outreach Mission Team , Christy served in the Academic Relations department for the Institute of Internal Auditors . She desires to help empower individuals to develop and maintain healthy , dignified and productive lifestyles .

Charles Mighty

Manager of Homeless & Housing Program
Charles Mighty is a 4 year graduate from Florida A & M University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Healthcare Management . He has worked in management for over 10 years in various professional settings and led projects for nonprofit organizations as well as fortune 500 companies . He is currently managing the Rescue Outreach Mission ’ s transitional housing and emergency men ’ s , women ’ s and children shelter located in the city of Sanford FL . When he is not building relationships with the community he serves weekly , he volunteers his time to mentor the young men of Kappa League , which is a Fraternal based program who mentor young men from 5th - 12th grade .
