To My Beautiful Wife Thank You !
All of my success and excellence wouldn ’ t have come without my beautiful wife Ama Bonney Matthews of 26 years this month , July 12th . She pushed me when no one else believed in me and straightened me out when I screwed up . I ’ m happy to have her by my side . Not only as my wife but a great partner in life . There are so many other people that I would like to talk about but I ’ ll save that for our next article . Vernon has three children : daughter Jennifer Maria – 34 , son Aaron – 28 , and daughter Ania Paige – 24 .
What ’ s Next ?
Vernon Matthews is enjoying the transition of his career as he is spending his time traveling across the country speaking to communities and youth about important community matters including mental health , standardized test scores , violence reduction , and the importance of federal , state , and local funding for community-based programs and organizations .
