TeKONTROL ' s first foray into the foreign market was through a project in Namibia in 1996 to train aircraft pilots . It hasn ' t looked back since . Contracts can last from two weeks to five years . Examples of United States support service customers are Military Sealift Command , U . S . Postal Service , Federal Aviation Administration , U . S . Army Corps of Engineers , and the U . S . Veterans Administration among others . Foreign customers include Kuwait , Namibia , Senegal , Columbia , Afghanistan , Taiwan , Kazakhstan , and Romania . In total , TeKONTROL is currently performing on or has provided support to more than fifty countries through its U . S . Army and U . S . Navy contracts . The company is currently operating in three states and four foreign locations : Egypt , Philippines , Indonesia , and Ecuador .
In addition , the Company has been recognized for its outstanding performance and community service by a number of organizations including having won the Eagle Award from the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida for being an outstanding and successful local black business . TeKONTROL has also been cited by the Orlando Sentinel as an outstanding workplace for families .
