I completed my externship with Dr . Charles Simmons at his office in the Methodist Plaza during 1987 by the Florida Dental & Medical Careers Coordinator . I was shadowed and trained by Dr . Simmons for approximately three months . I learned about the required duties and technologies of a busy medical office . Upon leaving Simmons Pediatrics , I received my license as a National Registered Medical Assistant .

He ’ s in control . I now realize that the favor of GOD is truly on my life , and so I have to buckle my seat and take this ride . I know the LORD is on my side . And for this reason , I have been chosen to run this race a little while for God is MY GUIDE and I will SURVIVE .
Thank you Lord for the A Team that you have placed me within ! For I know that ALL things are working together for the good for them that are called according to your Purpose & Will .
In May of 1988 , I was hired by Dr . Simmons as Back Office help with the recommendation of Mrs . Joann Bradford ( former Office Manager ). It was an honor to have been given the opportunity to serve and work here . I was only 19 years of age and had no experience but I was given a chance to fly as they say . And now today , 25 years later , I ’ ve recovered from many obstacles and setbacks in which have become setups for God ’ s PURPOSE & GLORY . To Him , I owe everything .
One of my greatest blessings was when the Lord allowed me to meet my boss , Dr . Charles E . Simmons . The Word says that God will give you favor with God and man . His plan is not like your plan , but His is so much better . Some might say I am spoiled ! Well , it ’ s like this , I expect the atmosphere to change no matter where I go because as long as I have JESUS - I know
