10 Ways to Motivate Employees
Here are a few simple ways to motivate your employees in the workplace : 1 . Recognize good work ! An employer-employee relationship is strengthened when recognition is provided . 2 . Provide intrinsic rewards . Extrinsic rewards fade quickly . Motivate your employees from within . 3 . Provide autonomy , not bureaucracy . Micromanagement is a mistake . Don ’ t dictate . When hiring employees with the right skillset , you should be a facilitator . 4 . Offer a good environment . Motivate your staff by creating an amazing work environment . 5 . Support employee wellbeing . While incentives are a great motivator , employees cannot provide their best work if they are unwell , tired , or overwhelmed . Addressing your employees ’ mental , emotional , and physical health is an excellent way of keeping them performing at their peak .
