Bronze Kingdom showcases an expansive variety of African bronze , beaded and wood sculptures from all over the continent including Nigeria , Cameroon , Mali , Côte d ’ Ivoire , Ghana , Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo . In total , the collection features pieces from 29 African countries . Especially notable are grand palatial pieces from the Benin and Bamoun Tribal Kingdoms , some dating back to the early 1600s . All of the oldest pieces in Bronze Kingdom ’ s collection have been tested by Kotalla Laboratories in Germany – the oldest private laboratory in the world for thermoluminecence testing , which is used to accurately date bronze and other artifacts .
A COVID-19 Free Environment
Bronze Kingdom ‘ The African Experience ” is taking every precaution to make sure we create a safe environment . So when not eating or drinking , masks must be worn and we will be practicing social distancing . We also have the Halo HVAC System , which will eliminate all virus and bacterial in the air . We will be doing ultraviolet cleaning each night to ensure that all surfaces are virus and bacteria free . We will have plexi-glass sneeze guards at the ticket purchasing area as well . We will also have temperature scanners when coming in the building . We want everyone to have a good time in a COVID-19 free environment . In addition , we will be opening the first phase of the gift shop in time for Christmas ! We hope people will make it a point to come do some Christmas shopping at the kingdom as well .
