Coach Brian Jenkins talked with the MEAC
media Friday, July 31st and addressed the
MEAC Kickoff Luncheon along with the 12
other head coaches in the afternoon in the
annual MEAC Football Kickoff.
“I am honored to be the head coach of
Bethune-Cookman and to be up here with
all these great coaches,” said Coach Jenkins
at the luncheon. “I know what it is to be a
Cookman man and we want to restore that
legacy, being proud and carrying on the
traditions of Mary McLeod Bethune.”

Jenkins spoke to the media earlier in the day and lauded B-CU’s All-
MEAC pre-season players

defense honors. “Reggie
Sandilands and Ryan Davis
are returning players and
team leaders that will be very
instrumental for us this year
defensively.” The Wildcats
open training camp Sunday,
August 7 and the team

August 15, time TBA, at
Municipal Stadium,

Turf surface in the 2010
season.
