Charity Begins At Home

Larry has been married to his wife Pearl Davis-Roziers for over 34 years . Pearl too is an accomplished educator within the Duval County School System and also retired in 2017 after 36 years of service . Larry and Pearl ' s only son Larry Mitchell Roziers , 11 , a product of his parents love and devotion enjoyed every step of his development and matriculation through the educational system . Mitch as he was affectionately called , excelled as a stellar student , basketball player and exceptional friend to all that knew him .
At the age of 19 , Mitch became sick and courageously fought the seriousness of his illness , attending and graduating from Bethune­ Cookman University . Although Mitch had been battling a rare neurological disease , his personality and smile made his sickness unnoticeable unless he told you how he was feeling . At the age of 29 , Mitch succumbed to his illness and his life though thoroughly missed was celebrated by many .

Larry and Pearl in honor of their son Larry Mitchell Roziers , II established the Mitch22 Foundation , Inc . and the MiTch22 Education Consulting , LLC , built on the belief that all students should receive nothing less than a world-class quality education . They believe that all students can achieve educational success if provided and encouraged with the right learning tools . This they felt was the perfect way to remember and honor the legacy of their son .
