One Vision, One Pur pose,
One Direction... One Team!
Tampa Chapter, Public Relations Director, Mr.
Audley Coakley, Miami Dade Chapter as Alumni
Representative on the Board of Trustees, and Mr.
John Williams, Miami Dade Chapter as
Parliamentarian. Ray Brinson pledged to carry out
the duties of President to the best of his ability and
added two words to the theme, One Vision, One
Purpose, One Direction… One Team! All working
together to achieve the goals for the upcoming year,
he explained.
The conference closed with the traditional Necrology
Service on Sunday morning which included a Candle
Lighting Ceremony and Words of Inspiration by
Evangelist John L. C. Douglas, Vice President of the
National Alumni Association.
On behalf of the past and current Boards of Directors
of the National Alumni Association, incoming
President, A. Ray Brinson extends special thanks and
commendations to the members of the Duval/Nassau
Alumni Chapter and the Duval/Nassau Booster Club
for the splendid job they did arranging and
coordinating the myriad activities for the convention.
The decorations, food, programs, the hospitality were
all first rate. Cooperative spirits was founded among
all of the volunteers exemplary and conveys heartfelt
admiration and thanks to everyone who played a part
in our success this year. Special thanks are extended
to all of the corporate sponsors and other supporters
for their valuable contributions.
