Sandra Collins is the President and Founder of Handle Me With Care Dolls , Inc . and I Heard Your C1y Foundation . These organizations are at the foref r ont fighting to resolve the issue of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse in our cities , state and nation . With the main focus being placed on the acts of abuse and neglect , many times the faces of abuse and neglect are forgotten and in some cases completely overlooked . Sadly , these are faces of children who don ' t have a voice . " If there is a c1y for help , why not handle it with care ?" said Collins .
Sandra and her 50lc3 non-profit organizations provide dolls to comfort women and children who have experienced Domestic Violence , Child Abuse or Sexual Abuse as a form of therapy and encouragement to help them cope and smvive . We are all aware of the increase of Domestic , Child and Sexual abuse in our society today , which produces an increase need for us to become more mindful of the cause , culture , criminality and cure for these abuses .

According to Domestic Violence Statistics ( 2014 ): �
Every 9 seconds in the US a wmnan is assaulted or beaten .
Around the world , at least one in eve1y three women has been beaten , coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime . Most often , the abuser is a member of her own family .
Domestic violence is the leading cause of injmy to women-more than car accidents , muggings , and rapes combined .
� Studies suggest that up to 10 million children witness some form of domestic violence annually .
Nearly 1 in 5 teenage girls who have been in a relationship said a boyf r iend threatened violence or self-harm if presented with a breakup .
Eve1y day in the US , more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends .
Ninet y -two percent of women surveyed listed reducing domestic violence and sexual assault as their top concern .
Collins is CEO of I Heard Your Cry Foundation and Handle Me With Care Dolls . She and supporters are collecting and distributing dolls to others as a form of therapy and encouragement to cope and survive domestic violence and sexual abuse .
