43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their
purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast
themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the
ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
There are some who can swim, some of you are mature enough in the
things of God that you know how to fast and pray, and seek God’s face,
seek Godly counsel and obey God’s word. You are the ones that when
the issues of life begin to get too much for you, you know how to get
resolve because you allow the Holy Spirit that is within you to lead
you into all truth.
There are some on boards, some of you who have enough God in you
that you realize that if you can hook up with a pray partner, or a mature
Christian, you can get pointed in the right direction. Also those who
are mature Christians realize that you are boards that others can use to
make it out of their situations. You may be Christian Counselors,
Deacons, and Ministers just to name a few.
And some on broken pieces, you may not be as mature in the things of
God as others, but be assured of this one thing, if you put your faith
and confidence in God, you can make it out of you troubles, even if it
is on broken pieces! If all you know is that one Bible verse or passage,
hold fast to it! Whatever that broken piece is, don’t let go! You can
make it on broken pieces! I love you all and may God bless each of
