The Youth Jazz Talent Showcase is a live talent competition where jazz musicians between the ages of 7 and 18 years compete for the opportunity to perform during the Jacksonville Jazz Festival . The winner will receive a cash prize towards furthering his or her musical education . Winners will be selected by a panel of music adjudicators who specialize in the field of traditional and contemporary jazz and blues art forms .
