Waves Audio has expanded its Commercial Audio line with the introduction of the CA3000-MX commercial audio mixer . The CA3000-MX is a new install-ready audio mixer and processing engine for a wide range of single-room and multi-zone AV installations .
The CA3000-MX offers powerful mixing and built-in processing capabilities that can upgrade the sound of any installed audio system ; it also offers the option to expand processing , by adding plug-ins from Waves ’ catalog . The CA3000-MX system is compatible with standard ASIO audio or Dante network configurations .

Crest Audio PCX Series Digital Audio Matrix Processors
Crest Audio , a Peavey Commercial Audio brand , has introduced the PCX Series of digital matrix speaker management processors . Each of the three units in the PCX Series offers best-in-class processing technology with inputs / outputs that can be routed in multiple configurations to meet virtually any requirement . Harnessing power and flexibility to perform loudspeaker management functions as well as matrix mixing , room combining , and other audio processing functions , the PCX Series is well-suited for installed and portable sound systems .
The three PCX Series units are distinguished primarily by their input / output configurations . The PCX 260 offers two XLR inputs and six XLR outputs ; the PCX 480 offers 4 / 8 XLR I / Os ; and the PCX 88 offers 8 / 8 . Notably , on the PCX 88 , an additional eight digital input channels and eight digital output channels , all independently assigned , are available over Ethernet with the optional Dante network audio card .
ATC SCS70 Pro Subwoofer
ATC has released the SCS70 Pro , a compact , ultra-high performance subwoofer using ATC ’ s first inhouse-designed and built sub driver . This new 12-in . sub driver delivers low-frequency information and , without the use of EQ or porting , still delivers deep bass down to 20Hz .
The ATC SCS70 Pro goes along with ATC ’ s line of active monitors and can be deployed as a single , in pairs , or larger multiples to suit a huge range of rooms and applications / formats . The SCS70s can be daisy-chained for scalable performance and any number of them can be muted with a single footswitch . Flexible gain , and multiple low-pass frequencies allow users to optimize the the SCS70 in any room with any ATC monitor , as well as universal application with other brands of monitors .
The new 12-in . SS75-314SC neodymium sub driver is housed inside a sealed cabinet ( i . e ., an infinite baffle ) that is deliberately heavy to minimize cabinet interaction ( the entire 18 x 22 x 20-in . box weighs in at 97 lb .). Consistent with other ATC designs , the driver uses a short coil inside an exceptionally long magnetic gap to produce high sound pressure levels with very low distortion . A new Grounded Source MOSFET-based Class A-B convectioncooled amplifier is expressly designed to work with this sub driver and accepts balanced input from either mono or stereo sources . Buffered and unfiltered balanced throughputs provide connection to additional SCS70 subwoofers and / or full-range monitors .
