Universal Audio Volt 476P & Volt 4 USB Audio Interfaces
Universal Audio ( UA ) has introduced the Volt 476P and Volt 4 USB audio interfaces . The new interfaces feature four-in / four-out audio connections with onboard tone shaping , and each model brings 48V phantom power , direct monitoring for latency-free recording , an included suite of audio software , and iPad / iPhone connectivity .
Built for creative collaborators and bands who want to easily record larger audio projects with studio-quality sound , Volt 476P is UA ’ s first Volt model to feature four analog preamps , with 76 compressor and vintage mic preamp modes on every input channel . With expanded outputs for headphones , speakers , and outboard gear , the Volt 476P also sports rugged metal construction and retro wood sides . With four-in / four-out audio connections , including dual analog mic preamps with Vintage Mic Preamp mode , the Volt 4 is UA ’ s most portable , bus-powered USB recording interface .

IK Multimedia iLoud Precision Series Studio Monitors
IK Multimedia has announced the iLoud Precision series of studio monitors , available in a choice of three configurations — two-way 5-in . or 6.5 in ., and 2 x 5-in . MTM . The iLoud Precision offers a frequency response from 36 Hz to 30 kHz , with a ± 1 dB tolerance from 45 Hz up , for precise and uncolored audio throughout the whole listening spectrum . This is guaranteed to be accurate within ± 0.5 dB for a unit-to-unit consistency , thanks to the monitors ’ calibration during the last stage of the manufacturing process , according to the company .
The iLoud Precision also leverages its 96 kHz internal DSP processing , digital crossover and custom-designed Class D amplifier to deliver true linear phase response above 150 Hz for precise stereo imaging , crisp transients , and enhanced detail . Each speaker features built-in calibration based on ARC System technology . Once the included MEMS measurement microphone is connected , the iLoud Precisions will tune themselves to any setting , from mixing room to living room .
