Audient ASP4861 Heritage Edition Console
Audient h as announced that the ASP4816 Heritage Edition compact console is ready for shipping . Featuring a real Transformer Drive alongside a Low Bump and High Lift EQ , inspired by classic mastering equalisers of old , they allow for wider , more spacious mix bus tones . Another enhancement also found on the ASP8024-HE is the bus compressor Bass Expand feature . The mix bus summing amplifiers have also been significantly upgraded to the highly-regarded American John Hardy 990 discrete transistor amplifiers .
Further improvements to the ASP4816-HE include the addition of a monitoring grade headphone amplifier ; latching footswitch triggers for remote , hands-free talkback ; an all-metal main output pot ; and a gain reduction VU meter .
Heritage Audio Súper 8 Preamp
Heritage Audio has announced its Súper 8 preamp , delivering eight-channel workability as a 2U-rack-mountable eight-channel transformer coupled class a mic preamp with premium 24-bit 192K ADC , allowing eight high-quality signals to be recorded into a DAW with an ADAT Lightpipe cable .
Exclusively-designed Carnhill transformers on each input and output , as well as tantalum capacitors , combine to ensure that users can access a vintage and vibrant sound . Furthermore , the Súper 8 ’ s preamps are complete with additional sought-after features . Each channel has a + 48v phantom power-activating button , a line button to prepare the input for line level signals , a phase button to flip it 180 degrees , and a ‘ low cut ’ button to produce a -3dB cut at 80Hz . The first two channels are also equipped with a LOZ ( low impedance ) button , which changes the input impedance from 1200Ω to 300Ω to provide even more tone-tweaking flexibility ; a pad button to reduce the input by -20dB ; Heritage Audio ’ s JFET ( junction-gate field-effect transistor ) DI , as well as a fully-sweepable low-cut filter .
