Black Lion PG-P Portable Power Conditioner
Black Lion Audio has released the PG-P Portable Power Conditioner , a studio-class power conditioner featuring proprietary PG-P portable filtering technology to provide the same noise filtering found in the majority of rack-mount power conditioners , despite looking like a regular surge protector .
The PG-P itself is built using premium Panasonic capacitors , selected due to their execution in eliminating highfrequency noise that saps equipment of its peak performance . The company says that in testing , this provided an average of three times the noise filtering capability of other portable power conditioners at the same price point . The PG-P provides studio-grade power on the go via six wall-wart-spaced outlets , backed by Ground OK , Protection On , and Clean Power On LEDs .
QSC NS Series Gen 2 Network Switches
QSC has introduced the Q-SYS NS Series Gen 2 enterprise-grade , Netgear-manufactured AV network switches . These switches are pre-configured to meet the requirements of the Q-SYS audio , video , and control platform , providing an out-of-box solution for faster , more reliable deployment of standalone AV networks .
The new network switches provide real-time transport of Q-LAN , AES67 , and Dante audio streams in addition to Q-LAN video streaming and distribution , simultaneously within the same VLAN , without the need to manually configure or adapt QoS settings . Each Q-SYS NS Series Gen 2 network switch features standard PoE on each of its ports ( excluding the uplink and SFP ports ) providing combined power , data , and control for Q-SYS devices .
Furthermore , two NS Series Gen 2 models support PoE ++ for use with Q-SYS devices that carry greater power requirements . This eliminates the need for PoE injectors and external power supplies and simplifies the wiring process . The NS Series offers intelligent features that automatically manage multicast traffic on the network with integrated Netgear IGMP Plus to provide multicast data management between multiple NS Series switches . Additionally , an optional built-in DHCP server is pre-configured , enabling automated connectivity for independently administered AV systems .

Pliant has introduced the 4-Wire I / O Interface and Two-Way Radio Headset Adapter ( PAC- MC4W-IO ), which offer a solution to enhance the flexibility of its MicroCom XR wireless intercom system .
Designed with MicroCom XR wireless intercom customers ’ workflows in mind , this compact solution adds additional users by connecting a MicroCom XR system to a variety of wired and wireless intercom systems that use an industry-standard four-wire connection . In addition , it also offers a direct intercom interface from the MicroCom XR to many two-way radio devices .
The headset adapter is a low-cost solution that seamlessly expands any MicroCom XR wireless system . Combining MicroCom XR and the new four-wire adapter , users can easily be added to existing intercom systems using 4-wire connections . Additionally , by using one of the optional radio adapter cables , users have the ability to connect MicroCom XR to a two-way radio system , allowing them to talk and listen through many popular two-way radio models .
