EAW NTX Series Line Array & SBX Series Subwoofer
Eastern Acoustic Works ( EAW ) has launched its NTX Series line array and SBX Series subwoofer .
The NTX201L is designed as a high-performance solution that streamlines setup . It is a 2x10-in . articulated array with an integrated 1,600W two-channel amplifier and universal PFC power supply . The NTX210L operates in the 55Hz-18kHz range with a max SPL of 140db and has a 90-degree horizontal and 12-degree vertical nominal beamwidth . The NTX ’ s OptiLogic technology provides automatic array self-detection via onboard infrared sensors and accelerometers , and near-instant optimization , including air loss compensation and more . The series features integrated Dante networking ( with loop-thru ), including analog redundancy capability , allowing the analog input to be set to automatically enable if the Dante signal is lost .
The SBX Series active 18-in . subwoofers include the SBX218 ( capable of a total oof 5,000W ) and the SBX118 ( capable of 2,500W ). Both operate in the 25Hz-120Hz frequency range with a max SPL of 141db for the SBX218 and 135db for the SBX118 . Both models feature exclusive 18-in . neodymium woofers with 4-in . voice coils . While the SBX Series subwoofers are mechanically designed to complement the NTX210L line array , they can support other systems , such as the EAW Anna ADAPTive and RSX Series lines .

Black Rooster Audio has released the OmniTec-67A plug-in , which takes its inspiration from the acclaimed Altec 1567A vintage tube mixer .
Altec ’ s 1567A was originally released in the early-1960s as a rack-mounted tube mixer that had a simple two-knob EQ and 97dB of gain . Its sound added a distinctive character , density , and grit , while its signature green faceplate visually set it apart from the gear of the time . The 1567A heavily influenced the sound of countless Motown hits — from The Supremes to The Temptations .
Black Rooster ’ s OmniTec-67A vintage preamp plug-in has been faithfully modelled to transport this signature sound to modern-day DAW-driven workflows , with Tube Type A , B , and C providing its users with a variety of options to add warmth and saturation to a track . The three types of tube each offer a different frequency response , output gain , and harmonic range , while the Bias control heavily influences how those tubes are driven , having an effect on their temperature and resistance — too cold ( over-biased ), then the valve sounds thin ; too hot ( under-biased ), then the valve oversaturates .
