Sonifex AVN Multi-Channel Dante Audio Interfaces
Sonifex has released the AVN series of multi-channel Dante audio interfaces.
The range consists of the AVN-AI04, AVN-AI08, and the AVN-AO16. The AVN-AI04 and AVN-AI08 provide four and eight balanced analog
inputs and outputs, respectively, to and from the Dante network. The AVN-AO16 audio converter and interface creates up to 16 analog outputs
from the Dante audio-over-IP networking standard.
Designed to be cost effective and simple to configure and operate, these rack-mount interfaces are packaged in a 1U form factor and
use Neutrik XLR connectors. They are Dante Domain Manager compliant, AES67 compliant, and use PoE for power.

Radial SW8-USB Auto-Switcher & USB Playback Interface
Radial Engineering is now shipping the SW8-USB auto-switcher and USB playback interface.
The SW8-USB is an eight-channel switching device designed primarily for live concerts where backing tracks are used to reinforce the
performance. Should the primary playback source suffer a failure or dropout, the SW8-USB can switch to a backup source to prevent any
negative effects on the performance. This switching can be done automatically by the SW8-USB, or it can be performed manually using a
switch on the front panel or by remote control.
One of the advantages of the SW8-USB over a typical redundant playback system is that it allows the user to connect directly to their
playback computers over USB, eliminating the need for additional audio interfaces, which in turn reduces the weight and cost of the redun-
dant system. The SW8-USB is equipped with two USB connectors and 24-bit/192 kHz digital audio converters that provide eight channels of
high-quality audio playback over balanced XLR outputs.

NEXO P12 Multi-Purpose Loudspeaker
NEXO has released the P12 multi-purpose loudspeaker, which is the com-
pany’s first 12-in. enclosure.
Intended for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications, the
P12 features a curvilinear enclosure of custom birch and poplar plywood
and employs a purpose-designed 12-in. LF Neodymium driver and 3-in. dia-
phragm HF driver in a coaxial configuration. The cabinet’s compact footprint
measures 531 x 432 x 317 mm. Frequency response is 60 Hz-20 kHz, and the
SPL is 138dB peak (passive)/140dB peak (active mode).
Users can customize the P12 cabinet to their needs as the horn flanges
can be interchanged to deliver a variety of directivities – from the 60 x 60
degrees provided as standard to 90 x 40 degrees or an asymmetrical 50-100
x 40 degrees.
