PRODUCTS Lectrosonics D Squared Digital Wireless Microphone System Lectrosonics has introduced the D Squared digital wireless microphone sys- tem, which utilizes the company’s fourth-generation digital architecture for improved flexibility, fast setup, studio quality audio, and ultra-low latency. The system includes the DSQD four-channel digital receiver, DBu digital belt pack transmitter, and DHu digital handheld transmitter. The D Squared system’s features include 24-bit, 48 kHz digital audio, two-way IR sync, three levels of encryption, and a tuning range from 470-608 MHz (470-614 MHz for export versions). The DSQD digital receiver is a four- channel, half-rack design with high-resolution colour display, analog or Dante digital outputs, and rear BNC antenna ports with “loop-thru” buffered BNC outputs to another receiver. Danley 10K8c & 3K8c Cinema-Ready Amplifiers Danley Sound Labs has introduced the 10K8c and 3K8c amplifiers, which complement its Cinema Line loudspeakers and subwoofers. Both 2 RU amplifier models provide: eight independent inputs and eight independent amplifier channels (though any pair of channels can be bridged), comprehensive 96 kHz digital processing, presets for every Cinema Line loudspeaker and subwoofer, and robust loudspeaker and circuit protection. The principal difference between the two models is that the 10K8c delivers 1,250 W per channel, whereas the 3K8c delivers 400 W per channel (2, 4, or 8 Ohms or 70 V for both units).
