Genelec S360A Monitor & 7382A
Subwoofer
Genelec has launched two new high-SPL Smart Active Monitors: the two-
way S360A and the 7382A subwoofer.
The S360A is housed in a compact enclosure featuring Finnish woodwork
and very low and controlled diffraction. It features a 10-in. high-efficiency
and minimal distortion woofer based on Genelec’s Master Series and an
extended directivity control waveguide DCW, supporting its 1.7-in titanium diaphragm compression
tweeter. The result combines neutrality with a short-term SPL capability of 118dB and a long throw
capability that can provide reference-quality accuracy even at listening distances over 33 ft.
The 7382 Smart Active Subwoofer is Genelec’s most powerful subwoofer to date. It delivers
precise, powerful low frequency extension down to 15 Hz and houses three custom-designed
15-in. long-throw woofers. They benefit from the vibration-free environment of a heavily braced
fiberboard enclosure, with laminar flow bass reflex porting extending along the rear wall to ensure
low distortion and compression-free performance. The 7382 delivers outputs in excess of 130dB SPL.

Bose ControlSpace EX Audio Conferencing System
Bose Professional is shipping the ControlSpace EX audio
conferencing system.
At the heart of the system is the ControlSpace EX-1280C
conferencing processor. It addresses a common need for
consolidated, single-model connectivity. The EX-1280C includes
integrated support for VoIP, PSTN, analog, and USB audio. Twelve
advanced, routable AECs with adaptable noise cancellation,
non-linear processing, and comfort noise enhance the clarity and
intelligibility of meetings.
The EX-1280C processor has 64 x 64 Dante I/O and native support for all Dante conferenc-
ing microphones. Additional onboard connectivity includes 12 mic/line inputs, eight analog outputs, an eight-channel Bose AmpLink digital
output, stereo in/out USB audio, dual-line VoIP, and PSTN. A key feature is the “one-cable-to-the-table” connectivity via three Dante-based PoE+
under-table endpoint models.

Harrison AVA LegacyQ Equalizer Plug-In
Film and television audio console manufacturer Harrison Consoles has partnered with Plugivery to
release a plug-in version of its original MPC digital equalizer, the AVA LegacyQ Equalizer. The plug-in
is available in AAX, AU, VST, and VST3 formats.
Like the original, the AVA LegacyQ plug-in is optimized for use with control surfaces. Each band
covers a limited range equivalent to its original analog counterpart, and the “Q” shape is designed
to optimally match the operating range of a physical knob. A high-resolution spectrum analyzer is
also provided to pinpoint specific frequencies that need adjustment. Additional features include five
parametric EQ bands with selectable shapes, two filters with selectable shapes, custom four-octave
frequency ranges, and high precision RTA analyzer that retains full resolution in the low frequencies.
