Universal Audio API Vision Console Emulation Plug-In Bundle
Universal Audio ( UA ) has introduced the API Vision Console Emulation Bundle as part of its UAD Software v9.14 and LUNA v1.1.8 updates .
API Vision Console Emulation transforms LUNA into API ’ s flagship analog console , combining authentic emulations of API ’ s L Series preamp , EQs , compressor , gate , filters , and summing circuits for end-to-end large-format console sound and workflows .
UA ’ s first-ever full console emulation harnesses Apollo ’ s built-in DSP for low-latency live tracking , switching to native processing for all mixing functions . This hybrid DSP management builds upon LUNA ’ s analog-inspired approach , delivering smooth transitions between workflows and consolidating multiple plug-in windows into a single , easy-to-manage row in LUNA ’ s mixer .
Also included is the API Preamp plug-in for Apollo interfaces , emulating the tone of API ’ s 212L preamp circuit , with added features from their flagship Vision console including a mic / line switch , dedicated cut filter , and a -6dB line pad .
Rounding out the bundle , UAD Software v9.14 includes the updated API Vision Channel Strip Collection . This authentic emulation of API ’ s flagship analog console channel for Apollo and UAD hardware now features switchable EQ modules and an expertly-modeled output section for added toneshaping and flexibility .

Harrison Consoles AVA Drum Flow Plug-In
Harrison Consoles has announced the new AVA Drum Flow , the company ’ s AAX / AU / VST / VST3 all-in-one drum mixing plug-in for macOS , Windows , and Linux .
AVA Drum Flow is the next-in-line for Harrison ’ s Flow series plug-ins , and is a channel strip-style plug-in containing six routable processing elements and a master section with input , output , and routing controls . The elements include Drum Character , a unique equalizer that detects drum hit transients and allows for the attack and tail sections of the envelope to be EQ ’ d individually ; Expander / Gate , a versatile dynamics processor ; Signal Generator , which can synthesize various types of signals to enhance drum hits ; Compressor , a simple leveller with Ratio , Attack , Release , and Makeup controls ; 32C Channel EQ , an emulation of Harrison ’ s 32C channel strip EQ ; and Filters , for high and low passing . The processing elements are separated into modules which can each be individually bypassed , soloed , and reset using the corresponding controls on each module ’ s top bar .

Innovate Audio panLab 2 Spatial Audio Mixing Software
Innovate Audio has released panLab 2 , a spatial sound design and mixing tool designed d to integrate seamlessly with QLab . Available as a macOS app , panLab 2 adds user-friendly spatial audio capabilities to the QLab workflow .
Using panLab 2 , users can mix QLab audio and mic cues by positioning them on a virtual map of their sound system . Using a bespoke algorithm designed for the software , panLab 2 takes care of much of the setup process required when configuring a spatial audio environment . panLab 2 can discover and communicate with any available QLab workspace on the local network . All level-based data is stored within the QLab workspace , meaning it is not necessary to run panLab 2 during performances , only whilst programming , and requires no additional hardware or software during performances .
Users are able to draw trajectories straight onto the panner , with panLab 2 translating that data into fade cues created in the QLab workspace , and have the ability to modify the speed of sequences both proportionally , and by adjusting to a constant speed of movement . Sequences can also be recorded live , with all timing offsets stored back to QLab for precise reproduction .
