Opened in 2003 , Lincoln Financial Field is the home stadium of the NFL ’ s Philadelphia Eagles and also hosts the Temple University Owls , the Army-Navy game , and many soccer games each season . In 2017 , the stadium staff asked Diversified to design a new , upgraded audio system for the seating bowl , which the firm installed in multiple phases during off-seasons starting in spring of 2018 .
To improve speech intelligibility and the musical experience , Diversified proposed a Fulcrum Acoustic-based solution . Jeff Sanderson , senior design engineer at Diversified , used EASE modeling software to design the new sound system incorporating AH , FH , and GX series products as well as Passive Cardioid subwoofers .
“ The fan experience across the NFL has been improving for a number of years ,” says Jeff Sanderson , senior design engineer at Diversified . “ A lot of teams are renovating or building new stadiums . The Eagles wanted Lincoln Financial Field to sound as good or better than anything else in the NFL . Speech intelligibility and musical experience is a critical part of that .”
The Netflix show Cobra Kai – a spin-off of the classic movie Karate Kid – has been viewed by over 73 million subscribers through its first three seasons . Recording the dialogue and karate action alike for season four falls to production sound mixer Mike Filosa , who packs a mixture of new and legacy Lectrosonics wireless gear : SMV , SMQV , and SMDWB transmitters , HMa plug-on transmitters , a pair of original Venue VR Field systems fitted with VRT tracking receiver modules , and IFB-T4 transmitters for comms .
What works for Filosa on set has been changed by COVID-19 precautions . This makes reliable wireless performance and quick setup all the more important , as he explains : “ I have a face shield and a mask because I ’ m in what ’ s called the A-zone , which is closer to the talent than most of the rest of the crew . But because Lectrosonics is so dependable , I don ’ t often have to penetrate the set . I can stay welldistanced at my cart . The features that help me do this include the smart tuning and the dweedle tones we can send to make remote settings on the transmitters . The T4s live on top of my VR Field , so I can pop the whole thing off the cart for use in vehicles and still communicate with my people .”
The Duke Family Performance Hall at Davidson College in North Carolina has quickly become a popular cultural resource for the Charlotte Metro area . The 600-plus seat proscenium theatre creates a seamless relationship between academics , art , entertainment , and college community life .

When a moribund Titan II Nuclear Missile Complex north of Little Rock , AR went on the market as a real estate offering in 2010 , G . T . Hill purchased the long-neglected bunker and set out on a journey of renovation that resulted in a premier rental space , complete with an Ashly Audio-powered sound system .
After a decade of investing “ money , pain , excitement , time ( and ) tears ” into the project , Hill opened a luxury venue for those seeking a unique vacation spot or unforgettable event location . Looking for a premier sound system to facilitate future corporate events , Hill installed multiple Ashly solutions . The bunker uses four Ashly amplifier offerings – two KLR2000s and two KLR4000s – which are well-suited for a wide range of sound reinforcement and optimized to deliver high levels of sustained power , top-end audio performance , and road-proven reliability into 2 , 4 , or 8 ohm loads .
