TASCAM MZ-223 Mixer
TASCAM has introduced the MZ-223 rack-mount analog mixer , which offers flexible inputs , mixing , and routing that makes it well suited for installs in small- to mid-size venues .
The compact , 2U rack-mount MZ-223 offers five audio channels , each with a dedicated Gain potentiometer and two stereo sets of RCA line-level inputs ( 10 RCA inputs , total ), that can be mixed , segregated , and routed to three independent zones or destinations . Channels 1 and 2 can also accommodate phono-level signals for use with a turntable , making the MZ-223 suitable for DJ and residential applications . Two front-panel , balanced XLR inputs handle microphone signals .

Stage Tec NEXUS Fiber & IP-Interface
Stage Tec has released the NEXUS Fiber and IP-Interface ( XFIP ). In terms of IP connections , the XFIP is the equivalent of the RIF67 ( Router Interface AES67 ). The board is used in the NEXUS Base Devices and is a result of the collaboration between DirectOut and Stage Tec .
The XFIP uses DirectOut ’ s AES67 . IO module , which has a full AES67 implementation . It supports the creation of a non-proprietary audio network via an audio-over-IP connection .
Each XFIP supports up to 256 channels in and 256 channels out on the NEXUS side . It is equipped with an AES67 . IO module . This module can process AoIP with up to 256 channels in a maximum of 32 streams . The XFIP supports redundant audio transmission as per SMPTE 2022-7 “ Seamless Protection Switching ” and offers a Ravenna implementation . In addition to the AES67 . IO module , the XFIP also comes with two SFP ports for future applications .

Martin Audio SXH218 Hybrid Subwoofer
Martin Audio has introduced the SXH218 hybrid passive subwoofer , which features two high-powered 4.5-in . coil , 18-in . drivers .
The SXH218 is ideal to pair with Martin Audio ’ s Wavefront Precision WPC array in low end heavy applications or high performance permanent installations , such as nightclubs .
The subwoofer can achieve a max SPL of 148dB and is powered by either one channel of an iK42 from the company ’ s iKON amplifier range or , for full output , a bridged pair of channels . The enclosure is constructed from multi-laminate plywood and coated with textured black polyurea . A rigid perforated steel grille protects the front of the enclosure , while interlocking skids protect the top and bottom surfaces and prevent movement when stacked .
