Lectrosonics M2Ra Digital Wireless Monitor Receiver
Lectrosonics has introduced the M2Ra Digital Wireless Monitor Receiver , the next-generation receiver that is part of the M2 Duet Digital wireless IEM family . The new M2Ra receiver builds on the original version and features several eral key improvements and new features designed for professional touring , installation , theatre , and broadcast applications .
The original Duet system , designed for these same applications , was introduced in 2017 . The M2 System employs unique digital technology to provide ruler-flat frequency response , wide dynamic range with no compression on , and maximum channel separation for rock-solid stereo imaging or reliable mono operation with no crosstalk . In addition , the digital audio eliminates a compandor and the associated artifacts . The result is clear sound and low distortion with a low latency of 1.6 ms . The transmitter and receiver housings are all-metal for maximum durability , and both analog and Dante™ digital signal sources are supported .

Drawmer has introduced the 1972 dual mic / line and instrument mic preamplifier . The unit distinguishes itself with its flexibility , unique feature set , and simple operation , and is at home in both professional studio and live sound applications . As with all Drawmer products , the 1972 is hand-crafted in the U . K . with an all-steel chassis .
The 1972 preamplifier sports two identical channels of analog pre-amplification in a 1U rack chassis . Key to the 1972 ’ s versatility is the Select input source switch . It has six switch positions to cover the 1 / 4-in . front panel Instrument input jack for guitars , basses , or electronic keyboards , and five more positions covering separate rear panel XLR input jacks for microphones with or without 48-volt phantom powering or line level input sources . Other switch positions are provided to match microphones with 200- , 600- , or 2,400-ohm impedances . Low impedance passive ribbon microphones sound best when impedance-matched correctly .
Up to 66dB of ultra-clean gain in 6dB steps is provided by THAT Corporation technology using a 12-position rotary Gain switch . The switch ’ s detents make it easy to recall settings from previous sessions . Input levels are monitored on a simple , five LED colour-coded meter directly above the Input Gain control and a compact analog VU meter monitors the final Output level .
